Since the beginning of the conflict with Israel, the death toll in Gaza has surpassed 50,000 victims, while the number of injured is double that, totaling 113,274. In the last 24 hours alone, 103 civilians have been affected by the attacks, resulting in 61 injuries and 41 deaths. This figure adds to the 673 killed and 1,233 injured reported last Tuesday during a bombing.
Additionally, there are 233 more individuals identified during the count of murders and missing persons. Meanwhile, Civil Defense teams are conducting operations to rescue bodies trapped under the rubble.
This Sunday, Rafah became the epicenter of another tragic event: Israel ordered a military deployment in new areas, followed by a wave of intense bombings that forced families to evacuate immediately, leaving them homeless and compelled to “relocate under heavy bombardment.”
Palestinian authorities have called on the international community and all humanitarian and human rights organizations “to take urgent and serious measures to stop these violations, open safe corridors to evacuate the wounded, and provide protection to trapped civilians,” according to a statement from the municipality.
All these events occur after Netanyahu’s government declared an end to the ceasefire and implemented Operation “Sword and Shield,” which has no set duration as its objective is to continue the genocidal campaign initiated on October 7 against the Gaza Strip.
